For heavy makeup, use makeup remover first then the cleanser.

You might find this very tedious but if this will prevent dirt transferring from your pillow to the face, then it is worth to do to prevent acne and pimple breakouts.
3. When sleeping, keep your hair out of your face. You can do ponytail or use head band or hair cap whatever you prefer. This will prevent the oil and dirt from your hair getting into the face while sleeping.
4. Moisturize even if you have breakouts. This will help the skin from drying out. Make sure you use non-comedogenic and oil-free moisturizer.
5. If you are prescribed with medication, ask your doctor first about the possible side effects. Some medications will trigger acne breakouts.
6. Avoid wearing too much makeup or if possible, try not to wear makeup at all especially if you are just in your home. If it cannot be avoided, then use water-based cosmetics.
7. Facial is a great way to clean skin thoroughly and deeply. A professional facialist can suggest treatment that is best suited for you.
