Local and national newspapers:  People who want to advertise their business privately or reach a local market will often use the news papers to sell their business. When dealing with some one privately there is no business broker to act for you so its important that you see all the necessary paper work required in order to make an informed decision about that particular business. Enlisting the help of a solicitor will also be key in ensuring all the legal aspects are in place and it is also advisable to get the support of an accountant, who will assess the annual accounts and up to date monthly performance of the business to ensure that the business you are buying into is a viable one.
